Using our website generally does not require personal data. If such information (for instance name, address, e-mail address) are asked for, it is always voluntarily. Non of this data is given to third parties without your consent. Storage of the data is only done for processing your orders within the company. If it becomes necessary to give your data to third parties (e.g. to book another turist guid), I will inform you. Your personal information will be deleted after the legal retention period.

Usage of Matomo

Like most website operators, we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website. The non-personally-identifying information in aggregated form is used to produce reports on trends in the usage of the website.
For this purpose we use the software Matomo(www.matomo.org) of InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, Neuseeland.

We also collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. The IP addresses are pseudonymized such that we cannot use this information to identify our visitors and we do not disclose such information.

The data is processed and stored for not more than 180 days on our servers.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We use cookies to identify and track visitors, their usage of the website, and their website access preferences.
